The present Law lays down provisions relating to matters dealing with the protection from discharge into the air. The Law applies to the establishment and operation, as well as to the closing and demolition of installations not subject to licensing, as well as to the behaviour of persons in so far as they can cause harmful effects on the environment. The text consists of 18 articles divided into 7 Parts as follows: General provisions (I); Protection against noise (II); Protection against other immissions and emissions (III); Measures by authorities (IV); Empowerment (V); Penalties (VI); Final provisions (VII).
