The provisions laid down in this Directive shall apply to the sampling of products of plant and animal origin in order to determine the level of pesticide residues for the purposes of Directives 76/895/EEC, 86/362/EEC, 86/363/EEC and 90/642/EEC. Sampling for the checks provided for in the above-mentioned Directives shall be carried out in accordance with the methods fully described in the Annex hereby attached.
