This Regulation lays down detailed provisions implementing Council Regulation (EC) No. 1493/1999 on the common organization of the market in wine. The aim is to establish a code of oenological practices and processes authorized in the European Community. Particular regard is given to products intended for use in winemaking (Title I of the Regulation above-mentioned).
