This Decree of the Czech Mining Office, which is composed of 13 articles and two Annexes, establishes, in accordance with the legislation of the European Community: (a) method of assessment of the expected physical and chemical properties of extractive waste to be stored, having regard to its stability under different atmospheric conditions, the type of extracted mineral and the properties of overburden or tailings, which will be moved during extractive operations; (b) limits for classifying storage locations to appropriate categories; (c) criteria for characterization of inert extractive waste; (d) essentials of the content of the plan of the management of extractive waste, types of attachments to the application for approval of plans and requirements for the content of these attachments.
