This Decree applies to: the operation of the Rearing Information System, which is the national register of data relative to animal rearing and keeping places; and the persons and entities involved in the operation of the information system. This Decree provides rules also regarding the establishment of keeping places and the creation of rearing places, and their registration. There are rules regarding the duties of the authorities and animal keepers. Data to be registered in the information system is regulated in detail by articles 11-13.
