This Decree applies to pesticides as defined in article 1, first paragraph, commas (a)-(d) of the Pesticides Act 1962. Article 3(a) of the Act, recently introduced, requires the formulation of criteria for the admittance of pesticides with respect to effects on the environment. These criteria will be introduced in phases.
