The present Ordinance implements the Navigation Act (BGBl. I No. 62/1997). In particular, the Ordinance lays down provisions relating to docks and other facilities for ships. The text consists of 59 sections divided into 9 Parts as follows: General provisions (1); Setting up, running and use of docks and other naval facilities (2); Naval ship facilities and works on waterways (3); Measures for the protection of life and health of employees (4); Charges for public ports (5); Charges for private ports (6); Prohibitions and limitation on waterways (7); Monitoring (8); Final provisions (9). Three Annexes are enclosed as follows: Measures for radar navigation within bridges (1); Prohibitions on the Danube (2); Limitations on the Danube (3).
