These Regulations amend the European Communities (Animal Nutrition Inspections) Regulations, 2000 so as to give effect to Directive 2000/77/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 14 December, 2000. These establish a reliable harmonised procedure for the system of official inspections in the field of animal nutrition and improve on the protection measures which may be introduced.
