These Regulations amend European Communities (Control of Organisms Harmful to Plants and Plant Products) Regulations 2004 so as to provide for the implementation in Ireland of Commission Decision 2008/776/EC amending Commission Decision 2007/365/EC. The amendments concern emergency phytosanitary measures to prevent the introduction into and the spread within the community of Rhynchophorus ferrugineus (Olivier).
