These Regulations amend European Communities (Control of Organisms Harmful to Plants and Plant Products) Regulations 2004 to provide measures to protect against the introduction into the Community of organisms harmful to plants or plant products and against their spread within the Community. The amendment of the principal Regulations concerns the definition of Council Directive 2000/29/EC, implemented by the principal Regulations and its amendments.
