In compliance with the rules laid down at the European Community level, this Legislative Decree establishes provisions concerning the prevention of waste resulting from electrical and electronic equipment and, furthermore, aims at promoting the reuse and recycling of such waste, as well as the restriction on the use of hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment.
