This Order, which extends to the United Kingdom, contains transitional provisions consequential on the repeal of the Sea Fisheries Regulation Act 1966. That Act provided for the establishment of sea fisheries districts and local fisheries committees and the Orders made under that Act creating the sea fisheries districts for which local fisheries committees were constituted will lapse.
