The purpose of these Measures is to protect, develop and utilize aquatic wildlife resources, strengthen the protection and management of aquatic wildlife, and regulate the issuance and use of relevant special licenses. The Measures are divided into 7 Chapters: General Provisions (I); Capture Management (II); Domestication and Breeding Management (III); Business Operation Management (IV); Transport Management (V); Import and Export Management (VI); Supplementary Provisions (VII).
