The Decree amends a number of legislative texts relating to the fixing of maximum levels for pesticide residues in and on products on plant and animal origin, in accordance with Commission Directive 2002/42/EC. With article 1, a set of new maximum levels for pesticide residues (bentazone and pyridate residues on cereals) are added to Annex II (Part A) of Ministerial Decree No. 290341/88. Also, amendments regarding new maximum levels for pesticide residues on products of animal origin are brought forth to Annex V (Part A) of Presidential Decree No. 497/89 with the Table contained in article 2 to this Decree. Article 3 contains a Table which adds certain maximum levels for pesticide residues on fruits and vegetables to Annex II of Ministerial Decree No. 352654/95.
