This Order enforces pollution prevention regulations and reduction of marine environment pollution from activities such as dredging which may endanger sea, human health, and sea-beds. Applications for authorization of dredging shall be submitted to the Ministry of Environment and Food, through its Nature Agency. Specifications, characteristics and methods/timeframe estimated for these activities shall be notified in these applications. Authorizations shall be valid for a maximum of 5 years.
The Order consists of 8 Chapters and 1 Appendix: Scope (1); Application (2); Licence terms (3); Minor changed to license (4); Notification (5); Administrative provisions and appeals (6); Penalties (7); Implementation and transitional provisions (8).
Appendix 1 - Raw material types to be used in connection with the reporting of materials used for bypass or recovery (see art. 13, section 2, No. 6).

Regulations of previously applicable rules shall apply to applications for authorization and permission for dumping (in accordance with art. 26, sect. 1 of Marine Protection Act) submitted prior to 1 July 2015.Regulations of this Order shall apply to issues related to dumping (in accordance with art. 26, sect. 1 of Marine Protection Act) and which have been submitted on 1 July 2015, or later.
