This Order sets regulations for the analysis of river basin districts, on the assessments of human activities on surface and groundwater and the financial analysis of water usage. The environmental objectives of the Order include the classifying of type-specific of water body reference conditions for each type of surface and ground water in accordance with procedures laid down in Appendix 1. The Danish Nature Agency regulates provisions of this Order and is responsible for identifying surface location and boundaries within river basin districts by preparing an inventory of hazardous emissions, discharges and substances in these. The Agency carries out a financial analysis of water usage within the river basin districts in accordance with the specifications in Appendix 2.
