Purpose of the Order is to set regulations on monitoring animal feed and veterinary issues by inspecting and providing information and advice in these sectors. The Food Administration is an agency operating under the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Fisheries and implements these regulations in adheres to animal and wildlife health regulations implemented in Denmark and in other countries. The Agency is composed by a Director, a number of deputy directors and a veterinary director and acts as the administrative institution responsible for ensuring measures thereof are being implemented. Among the issues under the Agency s supervision is the prevention of disease and infections in animals and the notification of subsidy and procedures in regard to technical standards and regulations.
