The present Ordinance implements the Law of 6 May 1979 on hunting and protection of mammals and birds, Ordinance of 27 June 1990 relating to the Cantonal Hunting Law and the Ordinance of 9 December 1992 on Ordinance on prevention and compensation of game damages. In particular, the Ordinance lays down provisions relating to the efficient and correct enforcement of the afore-mentioned legislation on hunting. Article 1 establishes that the Construction and Environment Office is entrusted with the enforcement of federal legislation concerning hunting; whereas the Hunting and Fishing Administration is responsible for the implementation of cantonal legislation in the field of hunting. The Forest Office is the competent cantonal authority responsible for forestry. The Environment and Energy Office is the cantonal authority for nature protection. The text consists of 4 articles.
