The present Ordinance implements the Federal Hunting Act of 20 June 1986, the Ordinance of 29 February 1988 on Hunting Ordinance and the Cantonal Hunting Law of 6 May 1979. In particular, the Ordinance lays down provisions relating to prevention of damage caused by game and compensation payments for such damages. The Ordinance deals also with procedures concerning application forms and administrative aspects. The text consists of 20 articles divided into 3 Parts as follows: Prevention of game damage (1); Compensation of game damage (2); Common provisions (3).
