The present Ordinance implements the Plant Protection Act of 15 September 1986 (BGBl. I p. 1505). Article 1 establishes that the use of pesticide has to be notified to the competent authority. The text consists of 11 articles divided into 5 Parts as follows: Duty to notify (I); Proof of expertise (II); Protection of bark beetle infestation (III); Inspection of plant protection tools (IV); Penalties, transitional and final provisions (V). Three Annexes are enclosed.
