This Order amends the Plant Health (Scotland) Order 2005 so as to implement Community legislation on protective measures against the introduction into the Community of organisms harmful to plants or plant products and against their spread within the Community. It introduces a requirement of at least 48 hours prior written notice to an inspector by a person who introduces seed potatoes into Scotland. It also concerns, among other things, offences and specific importation requirements.
