This Regulation of the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Food lays down the animal health conditions applicable to intra-Community trade in and imports from third countries of deep-frozen semen of domestic animals of bovine species. The application scope does not include embryos resulting from in vitro fertilization. This Regulation is composed of 18 articles divided into the following Sections: General provisions (Sec. 1); Conditions of intra-Community trade in (Sec. 2); Import from third countries (Sec. 3); Control of collection centers (Sec. 4); Final provisions (Sec. 5). Annex A specifies conditions for the approval of semen collection centers. Annex B regards conditions applying to the movement of animals to approved semen collection centers; Annex C defines conditions which must be met by semen for the purposes of intra-Community trade or for imports from third countries.
