This Regulation prescribes the manner of the implementation of coordinated multiannual control program in order to ensure the compliance with maximum residue levels (MRLs) and assessment of consumer exposure to pesticide residues in and on food of plant and animal origin and ensuring a high level of consumer protection in accordance with the general principles governing the food security.
This Regulation contains provisions that are in accordance with the following Act of the European Union: Commission Regulation (EU) no. 915/2010 of 12 October 2010 on a coordinated multiannual control program of the Union in 2011, 2012 and 2013 in order to ensure the compliance with maximum permissible levels of pesticide residues and assessment of consumer exposure to pesticide residues in and on food of plant and animal origin (OJ L 269, 13.10.2010).
The Annex is an integral part of this Regulation.
