This Regulation of the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Food, which is composed of six articles and one Annex, lays down detailed conditions on knowledge, testing and training of official veterinarians and official auxiliaries for the implementation of the Regulation (EC) No. 854/2004 of the European Parliament and of the Council laying down specific rules for the organization of official controls on products of animal origin intended for human consumption, and the Regulation (EC) No. 882/2004 of the European Parliament and of the Council on official controls performed to ensure the verification of compliance with feed and food law, animal health and animal welfare rules. In particular, the official veterinarian should have knowledge of the Regulation 854/2004/EC, information and communication technology, health care and welfare, certification of documents relating to health and welfare, and knowledge of procedures in case of the occurrence of animal diseases. This Regulation is composed of the following Sections: General provisions (Sec. 1); Official veterinarian (Sec. 2); Official veterinary auxiliaries (Sec. 3); Written examination (Sec. 4); Transitional and final provisions (Sec. 5).
