Note by the Secretariat At its seventh session, the Intergovernmental Negotiating Committee for an Internationally Legally Binding Instrument for Implementing International Action on Certain Persistent Organic Pollutants, in paragraph 4 of its decision INC-7/5, requested the Secretariat to develop, for consideration by the first meeting of the Conference of the Parties, a proposal for the ongoing review and updating of the standardized toolkit for identification and quantification of dioxin and furan releases (the “Toolkit”) In response to the request in decision INC-7/5, the Secretariat, in
