عامل يبين كمية استنفاد الأوزون الناجم عن مادة معينة، على أساس الكتلة لكل كيلوغرام، مقارنة بمركب الكربون الكلوروفلوري-11 (CFC-11). ويستند هذا العامل إلى فترة عمر المادة في الغلاف الجوي، والوزن الجزيئي للبروم الكلور، وقدرة المادة على الانفصال عن طريق التحلل الضوئي، وإلى عوامل أخرى حُددت على أنها مقياس دقيق للقدرة النسبية على استنفاد الأوزون.
