For the purpose of implementing the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora, in accordance with the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Protection of Wild Animals, the Customs Law of the People's Republic of China, the Forest Law of The People's Republic of China, the Regulation of the People's Republic of China on the Protection of Wild Plants, the Regulation of the People's Republic of China on the Administration of the Import and Export of Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora and other applicable laws and regulations, the HS Commodity Catalogue of Import and Export on Wild Fauna and Flora is issued. In case of any discrepancy between the relevant provisions issued previously and this Announcement, this Announcement shall prevail.
The Catalogue consists of two parts. The first part is the Commodity Catalogue of Import and Export Wild Fauna and Flora Species, including commodity numbers, commodity names, regulatory conditions, and descriptions. The second part is the Lists of Endangered Species, including the Appendixes to the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora, the List of National Key Protected Wild Animals and the List of National Key Protected Wild Plants.
