This Regulation sets out the procedures to be followed to import into the European Union consignments of guar gum originating in or consigned from India and intended for animal or human consumption, as well as compound feed and food containing guar gum in a quantity above 20 percent. Consignments must be accompanied by an analytical report demonstrating that the product imported does not contain pentachlorophenol (PCP) in a quantity exceeding the limit specified in article 4.
