This Act sets rules with regard to the contribution to the sustainable development of rural areas through the promotion of stronger competition in the agriculture, food and forestry sectors. The purpose of this Order is to establish rules for protecting the environment by granting subsidies to sustainable measures aimed to improve agricultural product qualities (Natura2000 Planning). The Ministry of Environment and Food of Denmark and the Ministry of Housing, Urban and Rural Affairs shall, within their respective responsibility areas, set rules on the granting of financial aid thorough inspections in accordance to EU provisions. The Ministries also set regulations on the digital duty of notification for any registration of such activities.
The Act consists of 4 Chapters: Finance provisions (1); Administrative provisions (2); Penalties (3); Entry into force (4).
